When you hear creeping high hats, hypnotic beats and a pop of acid, chances are you’re hearing Britta Arnold from the console of her musical spaceship. Straightforward and distinctively poised, her unique blend of beats makes for a milkshake of cosmic potency. For this elegant electric-blonde, her pledge to break the norms and find the hottest music on the block has gained her quite the following and opened up a fantastic world of people, places and special moments. Since co-founding the Bar25 label in 2006, her nights are spent playing gigs anywhere between Asia, South America, and Europe.
Britta Arnold’s career has taken her across the world –- Georgia, Istanbul, Dubai, Ibiza, Beirut, London, Switzerland, Austria and Russia –- just to name a few. Many of her days are spent in the studio, dreaming and producing new music. Recently, she has released on Katermukke and Heinz, Kindisch, remixed tracks by ‘It boys’ Satori and Stavroz, and been remixed by the likes of Claude VonStroke and Ruede Hagelstein. Aside from this, her new musical project ‘Britta Unders’ with Amsterdam based Unders, is adding even more magic to her minutes.
Outside of music production and touring, she’s usually busy planning her GRRR Mit BRRR party –— a celebrated event at the Berlin club, Kater Blau. In 2018, Britta Arnold launched Happy Camper Records alongside Unders, and the incredibly talented producer, Noraj Cue.
The label is excited to be investing in raw talent and ostering their artists’ creativity with care and authenticity. Happy Camper Records is committed to altering the conversations the world lives by and to building platforms which expand the gift of creativity and self-care. Happy Camper Family started their very successful Label showcases which took place in Art Basel Miami, Thuishaven Amsterdam or Suma Bodrium to just name a few. The Camper family also set up their first ‘Happy Camper Camp’ at Burning Man where Britta played amazing shows at her own home base and on stages like Carl Cox’s Playground.
Their new touring concept, expected to hit the European market in 2023, is developing new “sustainable” methods of living and touring for creatives and the communities they inspire. During the Pandemic, Britta focused her energy on livestreams and music production, and creating a music video, which was released on Beatport. Her achievements during that period allowed her craft to reach hundreds of thousands of people which propelled growth with her online/social media audience.
